Machine Learning Engineer Interview Experience - United States

Process

I applied online and was then asked to do a HackerRank challenge. The questions were medium to hard on Leetcode.

Then I received a questionnaire asking me to let them know how many years of experience I have with four different topics:

  • Machine learning
  • Coding and software development skills, particularly in Python and Julia
  • Experience with at least one of the Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
  • Experience working with the WikiData dataset

I had a significant amount of experience with all of them except for the last point. They replied saying I wasn't accepted.

If you expect people to invest two hours in a HackerRank challenge, let them know beforehand that they must have experience with WikiData, otherwise they won't be considered.

Questions

Three medium to hard Leetcode questions.
