Recruiter reached out and asked for expected CTC. I mentioned X LPA.

Had a very good interview experience. People were very nice. Most of them were from USA. I was really looking forward to joining this company. I did really well in the interviews. But was offered only X-4 LPA, even though I had an offer of X LPA. They said it is the max they can do for this role. This was very disappointing. They should not interview candidates if they cannot offer the expected CTC.

First round: An hour-long tech interview. Second round: Half an hour round with two people. Third round: Half an hour round. Fourth round: Half an hour round.

All were tech interviews with some coding questions as well.
