Pros: I was happy with pay and benefits at first, but everything has steadily gone downhill over two years.

Cons: I’ve worked here over two years, and we’ve been short-staffed the entire time. Comcast simply pretends we’re not in a labor crisis, and we regularly have rejected job offers because we’re the lowest-paying in the industry. We don’t attract qualified candidates, and we don’t retain the more experienced employees who are needed to train new hires. On top of this labor crisis, Comcast just mandated that you are not allowed to WFH for any reason Tuesday through Thursday. So, if you’re not in-office then it has to be PTO. This is such a slap in the face, as most employees were unhappy with the office situation in the first place. There are also an incredible amount of fully remote employees on the same teams as those who are forced to be hybrid, so this decision is arbitrary and unfair. Now, if I have a cold or an injury but am otherwise capable of WFH, I have to not work and take PTO, which is obviously limited. This also means people who are sick will come into the office because they don’t want to use PTO. This is absolutely backwards, in my opinion, and I am now job hunting.

Pros: Good pay if you know how to play the corporate game. My management is surprisingly approachable and supportive. The expectations are reasonable and understanding. I’m learning a ton. They encourage learning new skills, provide free online courses, don’t deter team transfers, and will try to find you a new position rather than lay you off. But experiences can vary greatly.

Cons: They haven’t adapted at all to the hiring crisis. The time they take to fill positions is absurdly long. Like most other major corporations, they have "outsider syndrome," so don’t expect substantive raises or promotions. Be prepared to train a new hire who makes more money than you. They also skimp on accommodations that NBC employees in the same office get.

Pros: The culture is great. My team is family. Great focus on diversity.

Cons: The normal corporate giant problems.
