Pay rate, great facilities, location.
Micro-management, little or no opportunity to advance, contractors treated like disposable tissues.
I don't know what to say. Comcast (Philly, CC, CTC) management has created silos, castles, and fiefdoms that are secretive and uncooperative.
In addition, the title chase has caused professional traffic jams. Unless you 'know' someone, good luck advancing beyond the title of 'Director'.
I love the perceived freedom that comes with contracting, but too many employees treat contractors like disposable assets, trading out people with zero notice on a whim. They are supposed to provide two weeks' notice, but I have seen many instances of people getting let go in one second.
