The people are great and understanding. They know the system is complex and are willing to give you the time to learn. The environment is laid back and very eco-conscious. It fits the Seattle vibe perfectly.
People tend to stay here for a long time, which is nice if you are mid-career and looking for challenging work that you can rely on.
The hiring process sets a high bar, and I think that helps the company maintain high-quality employees.
The managers listen and respond to concerns, and the entire team is open to new ideas.
The work is complex and obscure. Good luck explaining what you do at a dinner party.
Keep up the good work!
First, there was an initial recruiter screening. Then, there was an in-person logical interview focused on Java to see if you understood the concepts of Java and OOP. Next, there was a technical interview with LeetCode-style questions.
It took a long time for them to schedule the interview. The interview was just talking to the hiring manager and then another engineer. It was easy. They did not ask many technical questions.
Had a good recruiter. About 3 rounds up to the director level. Phone interview, then two 2-person panel interviews. Pretty lengthy process spanning 2 months overall. I'm kind of annoyed I have to type more fluff in here because of Glassdoor.
