The process took nearly two months to finalize.
Every time they asked about my availability, upon providing my available times, they requested dates for the following week, not the week they initially inquired about.
I cleared the first phone screen and was then informed about a video conference call with two engineers.
I was scheduled for three consecutive hours. After the first interview concluded, I waited for over an hour for the second interviewer to appear on Hangouts.
I eventually realized the second interview was scheduled for a later time, but the invitation incorrectly covered the consecutive hours.
Moving forward, I received positive comments from my interviewers. The last interviewer, in particular, mentioned that I designed a perfect system (it was a design question).
I was hoping for good feedback overall. However, I received a rejection the day after I followed up with the recruiter.
I was not given any specific feedback, although I asked for it. I am unsure what they were looking for.
I enjoyed speaking with the engineers, but overall, it was a bad experience. I believe candidates deserve at least a sentence of feedback after going through a two-month interview process. A black-box hiring policy does not leave a good impression on the company.
