Pros
  1. The company's work culture is people-centric, then customers. People at the leadership truly care for the emotions of the employees, be it respecting individuals or caring for career growth. They believe an empowered employee will contribute to the company's growth. Most talents are from big branded companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and Salesforce.

  2. They provide enough tools and processes to build a world-class data streaming cloud product.

  3. A big part of remuneration is through publicly listed stock.

  4. Work-life balance and enough employee benefits/perks are at par with big brands.

  5. Remote-first company. Pretty nice office in a prestigious tech park, but underused.

Cons
  1. Sometimes high empowerment leads to inefficiencies with output.
  2. Remote-first takes away human-to-human interactions required for teamwork. But the world has already moved on with it.
  3. Their stock price swings too wildly during industry turbulence! It is an undervalued stock, though.
