I've never been a part of a company that is as flexible and accommodative as Confluent. No BS red-tapism – they actually don't care where you work from and how you work, as long as the work is done. With great freedom comes its set of responsibilities, in the form of challenging and interesting work. Overall, a positive experience.
Like every other startup company that experiences rapid growth, a constant challenge is scaling fast and effectively. However, this, strictly speaking, is a challenge and not exactly a con. The transition from a hyper-growth startup to a mature organization has its own set of challenges. More emphasis on onboarding and training needs to be present.
