Top-down management. There is a false sense of transparency, and when employees ask questions, they get generic answers. As one of the employees who worked at a company acquired by Contentsquare, I may come across as overly pessimistic. This is only because Hotjar was one of those unicorn companies where the empathy was real, the transparency was visible, and our values were oxygen that brought the great culture to life. So I don't think Contentsquare is the worst company to work with, especially for a corporate workplace.
