None of them. Avoid as much as possible.

Cons

A company that's good at acquisitions and has nothing to offer besides ruining companies (and their culture) that were bought (Heap, Hotjar, Upstride, Clicktale) recently. If you are looking for a poorly managed corporate-like company with the cons described below, then you are at the right place.

  • Geo-based salaries with massive discrepancies, even with people in the same team from the same country.
  • Absolute lack of transparency in every aspect (All hands meetings with ignored questions followed by meetings that are done for damage control, again without Q&A or with Q&A that avoids answering questions).
  • Top-down reorgs that put people in a place where they don't want to be.
  • Multiple reorgs in the past.
  • Management is not used to working remotely, while one-third of the company is remote.
  • The motivation level of people is hitting ground level.
  • Massive tech debt, which is not being addressed because development is driven only by customer needs.
  • Two rounds of layoffs in the past year.
Advice to Management

Stop being disconnected from what's going on in your company and think about the consequences of your decisions.
