The company has really gone nuts. They went into a path of hypergrowth, recruited thousands of people, and with the current economic context, their sales went downhill.
So, what solution did they choose? Fire as many as they can.
In Israel, 40% of the R&D department got fired. These were very good and skillful people; they just paid the price of bad management and business decisions.
They are not hiring anyway, and I don't think they will be hiring anytime soon. This is a very unpredictable company, so don't plan your future with it. Maybe they don't even have a future for themselves.
