The managers were friendly and reasonable.

Cons

I was hired by Costco as a part-time Front End Associate in November 2018. My typical working hours were from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

After I started the job, my partner got a job that required them to travel; they were usually away for a month and then home for a month. Our child was five years old at the time, and I didn't have childcare available past bedtime.

I spoke to the managers about changing my schedule, but they were unable to accommodate my request. Their hands were tied, and they couldn't give me preferential treatment.

Advice to Management

I recommend management advocates for more family-friendly policies.
