They have a healthy work ethic.
They expect a lot out of their employees, but their compensation (hourly, bonuses) is excellent.
Also, the employee pool is diverse, not "cookie cutter". I like the fact that a wide range of ages work together.
The training and orientation need to improve. I might just be the individual that conducts the session. There was not a really organized format of information once you finished with all the specific forms that needed to be filled out. It wasn't awful, but it could have been done better.
Have a specific employee who is an answer person for the new employees. This person wouldn't need to do only this job.
When new employees start at a company, they need to know the everyday needs of the business, and this person would be able to give them more guidance than what is given in the orientation session.
The interview process includes typical retail experience questions and scenario-based questions and answers. It is dependent on the warehouse, but it typically involves the candidate and the department manager. Overall, a fairly simple process.
Easy. Straightforward. Just like any other company. Asked a few questions about your job history and how you work with others. Then told me I should hear back in a couple days.
