Good pay. Free membership. Good benefits compared to other places.
Terribly mean and aggressive supervisors and managers. They never complain unless it's about the cart-pushers, which they keep screwing up on and blaming on them for it. For example, Costco policy is 10 carts maximum. The employees can push more than 10 and get the job done on time. The supe's and managers then start punishing for doing more than 10, and productivity falls. We don't get done on time, and they punish us basically almost every night.
I also felt harassed by some of the higher-up employees, who feel the need to make you feel like crap just so they can boss you around.
90-day probation means you can't complain.
Stop screwing around and inventing new policies every day, then punishing the employees for it.
Quit being on power trips. You mean nothing to anyone.
Take the time to compliment the workers instead of being 110% negative and pushy.
The interview process includes typical retail experience questions and scenario-based questions and answers. It is dependent on the warehouse, but it typically involves the candidate and the department manager. Overall, a fairly simple process.
Easy. Straightforward. Just like any other company. Asked a few questions about your job history and how you work with others. Then told me I should hear back in a couple days.
It was relatively easy. I just asked basic questions about experience. Most of the harder questions came from asking about customer service. Just remember they aren't customers, but members. They offer little training, so once you start, you're kin
