A very simple and relatively stress-free job if you don't move up to a supervisor. You work your way through the company and see what you like. If you're a student, they can be very accommodating to your schedule. The consistent hours are nice. A lot of the workers are pretty friendly here, too. Some of the managers/supervisors are really cool people!
I didn't like some of the managers/supervisors. I pushed carts for a while and always felt less important than everyone else who worked there. Also, a job like Costco is only enjoyable if you work with people you like. The members that shop here are generally pretty nice, but I have experienced some nasty people. The pay is also not the best for how much physical work you have to do.
Try to be friendly to the workers and greet everyone. Sometimes managers wouldn't even look at me as I walked past them, and I would just feel like I wasn't welcome or that they didn't like me. Overall, though, the management wasn't bad; it just wasn't great.
The interview process includes typical retail experience questions and scenario-based questions and answers. It is dependent on the warehouse, but it typically involves the candidate and the department manager. Overall, a fairly simple process.
Easy. Straightforward. Just like any other company. Asked a few questions about your job history and how you work with others. Then told me I should hear back in a couple days.
It was relatively easy. I just asked basic questions about experience. Most of the harder questions came from asking about customer service. Just remember they aren't customers, but members. They offer little training, so once you start, you're kin
