Overbearing micromanagement, uniform disciplinary standards with no allowance for extreme situations, very strict on attendance, unsupportive management constantly breathing down your neck, impossible expectations with less payroll than necessary, and extreme levels of stress.
People tend to work much more productively and happier when their manager isn't constantly breathing down their neck.
Trust the people you have appointed into these management positions, or don't trust them. There is absolutely no reason to be micromanaging someone in a management position to this extent.
It shows a complete lack of confidence in the people you promote to these leadership positions and sets a bad tone for the rest of the staff.
People also like to hear they are doing a good job every once in a while. Even if it's not all positive, there's still room for constructive criticism rather than demeaning abuse.
