No longer the best retailer to work for

Pros

Great managers and supportive peers. There is a strong bond within the team. However, managers rotate every 2 years.

Cons

Been short-staffed since 2022. Expectations of entry-level employees are nowhere close to what they used to be. Turnover is high because starting pay is no longer competitive with retailers, and remote jobs are in higher demand and more appealing.

Advice to Management

Pay your supervisors more than just $1.50 from a top-out cashier. Supervisors are doing the job of three people due to constant sick calls because employees are burned out. A billion-dollar company with millions in profit, pay your employees what they’re worth. It’s insulting that corporate flies into the warehouses on their private jet every week but gives the employees a 2% cost-of-living adjustment raise every few years.
