Pay was decent, but work experience and environment reflected a typical retailer

Front End Supervisor
Former Employee
Worked at Costco for 2 years
October 18, 2012
Tustin, California
3.0
Pros

Compensates very well for the work performed.

Cons

Does not value education or work environment, instead opting to cut corners in the name of efficiency and numbers, such as labor/productivity, members per hour, average basket, and member upgrades.

Advice to Management

Company culture starts at the top and works its way down. For blatant disregard of training and OSHA standards, as well as employment laws, to be as rampant at the warehouse level as it is, it can only reflect a blind eye from upper management.

Any building operating above $1100/hour labor needs to be suspect, let alone productivity figures at $1500-1700/hr.
