Pros

There are many excellent people. Interview processes are so good and high that non-excellent people can be filtered out in Korea.

Cons

The company is failing in focusing on developing fast and creative services. Managers in the middle tier are not good.

The CEO suggested the right vision and led the company in the right direction, but these days he seems he doesn't care about services, products, or people any more.

The company is no longer a start-up; it already is a large company. Project Owners don't create new businesses; they don't focus on developing services but on personal connections politically.

Team organizations are changing like a bad, large company. A small full-stack agile team is changing to a functional, large team. Platforms for software engineers are horrible. Some platform teams force other teams to use their systems that have very low quality compared to AWS systems, although the company uses AWS now and there are already similar systems in AWS.

Advice to Management

You are a startup company. Keep small, full-stack teams. You need to focus on creative products and services. Once you hire an excellent person, believe them and give power to them.
