I submitted my resume online, then got an e-mail a few days later saying that my resume had passed the preliminary qualification process and I would be advanced to the next stage of the interview process.
I then got an e-mail asking me what I like about Course Hero and the Knowledge Drive, why I am applying for the internship, and when I would be available for a phone interview. They replied and confirmed a time for the interview.
The phone interview was conversational, which made it really easy to get comfortable. I was asked what I know about Course Hero and the Knowledge Drive, how I am involved in my university, what my future career plans are, what I know about what I'd be doing in the internship itself, how I would carry out my tasks if I got the internship, etc.
Really easy, nothing to worry about as long as you do your research beforehand! Know your stuff about Course Hero and make sure to be able to highlight your networks across campus/how you're involved. Have in mind a few ways you'd tackle the tasks of getting people to join your team to upload documents.
I then got an e-mail which had attached information about compensation and the internship itself. It said to read over it, then to briefly explain what I'd do in the first 1-2 weeks if I got the internship/how I'd motivate people to join my team.
