Started with a Senior Technical Recruiter getting in touch with me and scheduling a remote technical screen.
Heard back from the Recruiter 2 days later saying they'd like to move forward with a second remote tech screen. The second tech screen seems to have gone well, and I was scheduled for an onsite 2 weeks later (the entire process was quite lagged).
After the onsite, I was told by the Recruiter that he'll be in touch with me within 2 days, and true to form, I didn't hear back for 4 days. I then received an e-mail from the Recruiter with the subject "Next Steps with Course Hero", asking for some time to get on a phone call.
Again, true to form, the recruiter called 30 minutes after the scheduled time, and to my surprise, said the team had decided to pass on the application as they didn't feel my experience with closely aligned to their tech stack. I suppose "next steps" to this recruiter was saying goodbye...
Clearly misleading, and quite unprofessional given the lapses and lacklustre attitude displayed by the Recruiter. Disappointing process.
