I found the recruiters to be clueless about the interview process and the role. I also got a feeling that they probably get a lot of non-acceptances of their offers, so they keep multiple candidates in limbo and waste their time.
In the first conversation for screening, when I asked about the salary range, the recruiter was dodgy. He said, "Why don’t we have a technical round?" I thought, "Why not?"
So, I cleared the next interview and got an email saying everything went well and here are the next rounds. I replied, asking for a salary range. No response.
So did I this time. I don’t have time for time wasters. 😀
Barely any tech questions in a tech interview. When I asked the panelist questions around recommendation algorithms, he was evasive.
