Process
Brief phone interview with HR, then I got an email asking me to come in for an on-site interview.
The on-site interview consisted of four different interviews:
- Whiteboarding test with two engineers
- Another more in-depth HR interview
- Whiteboarding test with a senior engineer
- General interview with the engineering manager
The people were cool and down to earth, but I didn't get an offer and was given a vague reason.
Questions
Write a function that takes in N and prints a dot tree of N height.
Twitter schema design and SQL queries.
A function that prints out prime numbers.

Pros: Solid business model.
Frequent parties with open bars.
Most people there were pretty decent, and some parts of the company really know what they're doing.
Cons: The engineering department is a minefield. Some teams and projects are hopelessly dysfunctional. If you find yourself helping maintain a terribly designed project, and your team's leadership isn't aware of the problem and actively trying to replace it, do yourself a favor and run away before you torpedo your career.
