Process

I was contacted by a recruiter for an opportunity at CK.

My initial call was with the recruiter at CK. They then took a week to review my profile to see if I was a fit.

Following that, I had an interview with a staff engineer for an hour. I was given a programming exercise focused on process and order of execution. It went well.

After that, they invited me for an onsite interview, but for a different position. I hesitated, but then was told to appear for the interview, and they would finalize the position based on feedback.

I went onsite after a week and was greeted with a goody bag. The onsite interview was four hours long, where questions were simple about existing products, more whiteboarding, and some algorithms. The questions were simple, and some were repetitive. Overall, it went well, and I was confident in getting an offer.

There was no update from them until a week later. After a follow-up, I received an email stating they were not considering me. I reached out asking for the reason and never heard back.

This is very unprofessional behavior because, as a candidate, I am entitled to know why I am being rejected.
