Pros

Comp is extremely high; it's literally the only reason people stay. If you've been here over 3 years, it's unlikely any company will pay you a base at the level Credit Karma will. Now that revenue certainty is higher and international expansion is underway, at least the IPO is just around the corner.

Cons

You have to put on a fake smile and kowtow to the senior leadership, almost all of which are in roles they have no business being in.

In my department, we had to research whether the new harassment disclosure laws would require prior settlements to be made known.

Advice to Management

Nothing really to say. None of you are going to do the right thing. I guess just keep bribing us all to stay here until we're public.
