A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and we scheduled a phone conversation. We had a phone conversation for about an hour, during which the recruiter tried to get technical details of my experience. However, it was quite difficult since the recruiter was not technical.
Next, I was scheduled for a 45-minute video call with the potential manager. This one was supposed to be a bit technical, but it wasn't. The manager was in a rush, and instead of 45 minutes, we discussed only 30 minutes. There were only several questions about my experience.
Next, I had a "technical" interview with two individuals, but it wasn't technical at all. They, again, asked only about my previous experience, with no technical questions asked.
Based on this last interview, they concluded that I am not a fit. Perhaps I was indeed not a fit, but, from my point of view, the process I went through did not reveal any of my technical skills. It was just a discussion about my past experience, which could have been seen from my CV.
Discussion about my previous experience.
