Process
I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn at the end of April. I had an introductory call with her, and she told me she would get back to me. About a month later, after ghosting me, she reappeared, saying there was another Associate Data Engineer position available. I was scheduled for an interview early June this time.
During the interview, I quickly noticed how most of the questions asked were very vague and seemed as if they were randomly thought of at the moment and not prepared beforehand. For the coding portion, I was just given a screenshot of some random code and told to enhance it.
About three weeks later, I learned I was not chosen for the role. This was not by anyone at CVS, but because I kept reaching out to the recruiter. I believe I was not chosen for the role because of my gender and race, especially since I was not given any feedback on the interview.
