An external recruiter reached out to me about this position. They asked me normal screening questions regarding my background, and then a technical interview was scheduled with two engineers.
The technical interview had some whiteboarding, where they asked pretty generic technical questions—the type of questions you'd see if you Googled "Software Interview Questions". The biggest turnoff for me was that I generally like to ask, "Hmm, I don't know the answer. Can you tell me?" They responded with, "No, you search it up after this interview."
I ended up leaving the technical interview not feeling very confident that I would make the next round. However, the external recruiter reached out to me about a week later saying they want to take me on to the next round.
I had already accepted an offer at a different company by then, so out of respect for my time and theirs, I declined future stages. The interview process did not seem very personable, and I probably would not want to work with them unless I had no other options.
