Pros

Decent wages, frequent verbal praise/encouragement, management open to ideas, a relaxed dress code, lots of potlucks, lots of support from senior peers, leaders/managers feed and praise us when we complete major milestones.

Cons

Not a clear path for advancement. Communicating changes may or may not happen. Too much emphasis on failure, like the world is going to end.

BIG CONS:

  • High deductible health plans with high paycheck deductions.
  • 1 year waiting period for 401K.
  • 90 day wait to qualify for benefits.
  • Not enough paid time off.
Advice to Management

Invest more into the benefits package. Cut the 90-day waiting period down or out. Remove the 1-year waiting period for 401k.
