Demanding, short-sighted, not particularly interested in professional employees. Worst benefits I have ever had: very expensive medical for a family, lousy raises, little alignment in management levels. Very hierarchical and bureaucratic.
There is a difference between a retail store employee and a technical employee in a more office-centric role.
There's much more consideration of the actual hours employees work and more understanding of the position employees are in when chided for not entering actual hours one day and being over planned hours the next.
