Good pay. Work from home.
Constantly reorganizing Poor benefits Huge worker contribution for benefits Poor communication from management Poor work-life balance
There's lots of talk about work-life balance coming out of one side of management's mouth, then they're trying to optimize every minute of your workday to get the most out of employees, then they claim you can't get promoted without going above and beyond. These priorities conflict with one another.
You give a 3%-5% raise in salary, then increase the cost of benefits by 10% and cut benefits. Plus, you make the bonus a huge part of the salary package but have been underperforming on bonuses the past two years.
My salary has not only failed to keep up with inflation, but take-home pay has actually gone down over the past two years. I was with old Aetna, and that company was wonderful to work for. As CVS suppresses that culture for their own, this company is more and more frustrating to work for.
The interview process was fine; there weren't any hard questions asked. A typical question was pulling data from the backend using Retrofit. I would highly recommend brushing up on basic Android functionality and code.
This role is misleading. The title states "Sr Software Engineer," but it's really a full-stack position. You will discover this during the second round. First round: general discussion with recruiter Second round: pair-programming in Spring Boot mic
Applied online. Got the interview call. Attended the interview F2F.
