They're moving in the wrong direction with tech decisions, pushing forward quickly with little regard for quality or long-term thinking.
Lots of mobile engineers work too much -- nights and weekends, even. This makes little sense since you can't quickly push a production fix to the App Store or Play Store; there's a whole review process that slows things down. So working production support over a weekend as a mobile engineer makes zero sense.
Listen to your software engineers and empower them to do the right thing, rather than pushing them to get things done quickly without concern for quality or technical debt.
