Pros: Databricks has managed to hire a large pool of very smart and talented people. They are one of the top reasons to work at Databricks. The people work together as a global team towards one goal, with surprisingly little politics.

Cons: The company grows fast, moves fast, and adapts quickly to new market challenges. That also means the situation never settles down much. If you're looking to get bored, this isn't the place for you. It's not as if the company expects you to work long hours and weekends -- absolutely not. But there's always plenty to do and to think about.
