The recruiter was initially friendly but later became unresponsive. The interview questions were not difficult. Except for one interviewer who was not nice, the rest were smart, pleasant, and enjoyable to interact with. Topics covered included multithreading, low-level system design, high-level system design, and behavioral questions. I appreciated that LeetCode-style problems were not included and that the questions were more relevant to the job.
I definitely felt that the company did not fully respect my time, as the interview process was very long. It included six interviews, one of which required pre-reading a paper, and a take-home exam. This was compounded by their unresponsiveness during the recruiting process.
I also received mixed signals. I was told I would receive an offer and spoke with members of my potential team. However, I was later semi-ghosted and eventually informed of my rejection with a very vague reason. A similar situation happened to others I know. While I respect that the company is currently in high demand, this does not justify a lack of respect for candidates.
Respecting the NDA, so not adding any specific questions.
