Process

Recruiter call to check motivation and salary expectations.

1 screen interview (peer coding with an engineer).

  • 2 questions, relatively easy.

After this step, you have to choose either to perform the take-home project followed by 4 on-site interviews or directly 5 on-site interviews (1 more coding interview replacing the take-home project).

I moved directly to the on-site.

  • 2 coding interviews:
    • 1 with 2 engineers and another with one engineer.
    • 1 question per interview (mainly word matching questions).
    • Be careful, even if they are kind, the feedback could be negative. Try to be as clear as possible and even if it is simple, explain the Data Structures and Algorithms you are going to use.

System interview: Deep dive on a project you worked on. Do not explain how the application works on the use case side, but go into technical/system details. Then, some system questions.

Architecture design interview: A conversation with one engineer regarding an application to design.

Hire manager interview: Deep dive on a project you worked on and some behavioral questions.

Questions

Design a streaming video application (download and read videos).

What happens when you perform curl google.com? This includes process creation, DNS resolution, HTTP/TCP protocols, etc.

Consider a LeetCode easy/medium question, like word matching.
