First, they scheduled a 30-minute interview with the recruiter. The recruiter provided some details about the company. They mentioned a single pipeline for the interview process. It is possible to receive an offer for a different position and team based on interviewers' feedback. The recruiter seemed to be in a hurry, which made me nervous.

There are at least four steps in the interview process:

• Tech screening with a live coding exercise.
• Take-home assignment.
• A 3-hour interview, consisting of a live coding exercise, take-home assignment review, and a system design interview.
• Hiring manager interview.

One week later, they scheduled the tech screening step with an engineering manager. During the first 10 minutes of the interview, we discussed my past experiences. After that, the manager asked two coding questions. I solved one without any problem. I spent some time and made multiple iterations to solve the other problem. The manager pointed out that my solution would fail with extreme cases. Additionally, this manager was constantly huffing and puffing and did not seem to be listening to my explanations. The manager appeared to be forced to attend the interview.

One day later, I received an email stating that I failed this step and wishing me good luck with my job search. I asked for detailed feedback, but, as expected, there was no response. I suspect they expect a perfect solution on the first iteration.
