Process

The process took 4-5 weeks.

In general, it was a great experience.

There were four stages:

  • Initial screening.
  • Live coding challenge.
  • Take-home project.
  • Three interviews: live coding, system design, and an interview with an engineering manager.

After completing all the steps, they thought too much, and at the end, I was not given an offer because I had a few weaknesses to work on. The recruiter motivated me to apply again after a year, as they thought I have great skills.

I highlight the well performance of the HR team (recruiters). They supported me along the process, giving me useful tips in order to succeed in each stage.

It was really good receiving feedback after each interview. I really liked how they treated me. All the interviewers were so kind.

Questions

1st live coding: LeetCode easy/medium

2nd live coding: More practical challenge, related to business.

System design of an application used by so many users concurrently:

  • What database to choose?
  • What architecture in order to scale?
