Software Engineer Interview Experience

Process

Single-sided communication, unprofessional conduct.

HR talk, then technical phone screen. It was okay. They selectively replied to emails.

Then a take-home assignment. A super easy backend and an annoying frontend (no idea why they test this for backend engineers). It could easily take 10 hours if you want to make the frontend not so ugly.

Received an email saying I failed the take-home assignment and they tried to schedule a talk. I replied to them via email and never heard back.

No idea how and why I failed that take-home test. No way to communicate or discuss the take-home assignment.

Suggestion: Do not waste time on a small company like this. Very individualistic and no idea what respect is.

Questions

Take-home assignment.
