Software Developer Interview Experience

Process

The recruiter reached out. The initial phone interview involved a deep dive into my resume, two technical questions, and a Q&A session at the end.

A week later, I was notified that they wanted an on-site interview in New York.

The hotel was very nice, though meals were not reimbursed.

In the morning, I had three interviews, each featuring more algorithm questions.

I had lunch with an employee, which I believe was part of the interview process.

Finally, I had one more interview with an SVP after lunch.

I received a rejection a few days later. To my surprise, it wasn't my recruiter who contacted me, either by phone or email; it was a generic email from HR. I found this to be rather inconsiderate after completing an on-site interview.
