Unfortunately, I've never experienced a worse introduction to a company than this.

I joined the initial HR interview and could immediately tell that she had no enthusiasm, and this was 'just another one' to her. There were no introductory conversations, just an immediate dive into the list of questions she had:

• How many years of experience do you have?
• How much money do you want?
• Why are you leaving your current company?
• Why do you want to work here?

Then came the question: "Do you have experience with 'X' tool?"

I have over a decade of relevant engineering experience, but I have not used this specific tool, so I answered honestly: "No, I have not."

"Unfortunately, we do not have a place for you here." We said goodbye, and the call ended.
