Process

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks.

Direct to the point interview, well structured and smooth process, overall it took about a month to finish, I'd definitely recommend going through the process as it's very sharp and Deel values are represented within it.

Pros: Career growth opportunities. Many unique, important talks and opportunities with influential people from big tech companies around the world. Extremely fast growth.

Cons: No salary negotiations or salary balance between managers and direct reports (new direct reports can join with a higher salary than yours). Raises through promotions are not large compared with the amount of work, usually 5%-7% for too much extra work. PTO rules are completely unclear; sometimes there is a lot, sometimes there is not enough.

Deel is great but lacks some good salary revision policy.

Pros: Great environment, flexible PTOs (you can take leave whenever you need if agreed with your team beforehand), fast-paced environment.

Cons: You need to get a really good initial compensation because you will stick with it for a while, even if you get good feedback. You'll also see new-hire colleagues getting higher pay than you are.
