The process consisted of a screening meeting with a tech recruiter, just to get to know you and your experiences a bit. If you passed that, you would then complete a take-home test. They wanted it done within two business days, and expected it to take three to five hours, which is honestly a short period if you have a full-time job.
Next, you would have an interview with the technical team. They might ask questions about your experience and about your take-home test. This step felt very rushed, as you needed to talk about your experiences, answer questions, complete a LeetCode question, and then a system design problem at the end.
The interviewer, who was a team lead, was a bit unfriendly, to be honest. He sometimes laughed at some of my answers instead of offering help or explicitly stating I was wrong. He also frequently interrupted my answers and repeated the same questions, implying that if you didn't do what they wanted, you were completely wrong without them saying so. Overall, a bad interview experience.
