Remote only job, can work from anywhere.
Mostly clear task requirements.
Not much bureaucracy, you can ship work quickly.
Very tight deadlines. I feel like they make every single request the most important in the world and needs to be finished ASAP, just for the sake of it.
Team lead is very responsive and helpful but also obsessed with efficiency. They will question and reprimand you on each task not completed in their estimated time. A lot of check-ins on progress.
If the job was adequately paid, I wouldn't say anything about this. But they pay senior engineers far less than other companies while at the same time boasting about record high profits and growth.
They cut down on benefits. There used to be a $100 reimbursement for bills or other expenses, but they removed that.
I don't plan on staying very much longer; I will leave with the first opportunity.
Invest more in your engineers, with better compensation or less strict deadlines.
Application Submission: You submit your resume or CV through an online portal or via email. Some companies may ask for additional documents, such as a cover letter or portfolio. Initial Screening: A recruiter or hiring manager reviews your applicat
The interview process was smooth and straightforward. The interviewer was very nice and not very formal. The entire interview process took a relatively short time to completion. I also learned a lot from the questions that were asked.
I was contacted by a recruiting company. I was sent a programming challenge that had to be done in a couple of hours (2.5). It was a big test, with many services to be added or fixed. You wouldn't be expected to complete everything, of course. Howe
