Java Developer Interview Experience - Canada

October 1, 2016

Process

The interview was a phone call from the US. The agency informed me that there would be two interviewers, but ultimately, only one person joined the call.

The interviewer introduced himself and stated he didn't even know for which position he was interviewing me. He communicated as if he had been unwillingly assigned the role of interviewer.

He then proceeded to ask general Java Developer questions. At the conclusion of the 30-minute interview, he instructed me not to ask any questions, reiterating that he didn't understand why he was interviewing me.

Subsequently, they communicated that the interviewer suggested I did not qualify for the position. However, he had previously stated he didn't even know the position for which he was interviewing me and was only going to ask general questions.
