I attended a Dell interview on September 21, 2013. It consisted of one technical round followed by a manager round. Both rounds went well, and I was sent for an HR discussion on the same day. However, HR did not finalize the CTC and told me they would get back to me the following week. I tried to follow up every day regarding the CTC, but they kept saying they would finalize it by end of day. After four days, a different HR person, who had not attended my interview discussion, informed me that I was not selected for the project. This was shocking, as the manager who led projects in that domain had sent me for the HR discussion the same day. Why did HR make me wait nearly a week for my status, only to then inform me that I was not selected? I suspect these HR individuals profit by providing incorrect information to candidates and selecting whomever they prefer.
Not any, as I answered all technical questions. But my experience with HR was really horrible.
