Process

The hiring process started with a technical round. They asked about SQL queries, the testing process, SDLC, the bug lifecycle, and personal experiences.

Next, there was a round with the manager. He tried to gauge my interpersonal skills and keenness to join the profile.

I was then told I would have an HR round over the phone. The day after, I received a call.

The HR round was normal.

After that, they sent me a list of required documents. I sent the documents, and then the HR called me for compensation discussions.

After agreeing on terms, I received a green signal and was told to wait two days for the offer letter. However, it was four days, and the offer letter did not arrive.

I called up, and they said the position was on hold.

After discussing this with my colleagues, I learned that I was not the first person to be cheated by Dell like this. There have been several cases like this with this company.

I am not very sure why they are doing this or what they are up to.
