Pros: Only compensation is the good part.

Cons: Management (managers/leads) rule the way you work and make life hell for you. They want you to work on weekends and stretch to 12/13 hours a day. They call it SCRUM, but they don't follow one. All the developers will be in the line of fire every day in SCRUM. There is no one to listen to your concerns or questions. You play slaves to the wits and wishes of the managers. You don't get any flexibility under the Dell culture. No work from home/no laptops, etc. You are forced to stretch from home using TeamViewer Personal Edition, which is against ethics. They call it a product, but follow a complete services culture. If you are on sick leave or half-day leave, the manager will ask 50 questions... All the team developers are under immense pressure, and there are no learning tasks.

Pros: Very good work ethics. Very committed leadership.

Cons: Still not very good software development practices. A lot of development practices are ad hoc.

Pros: Dell has created an equitable and efficient environment where we work as a single global team, delivering the right solutions. Dell leveraged the challenges of the pandemic to create a top-of-the-line virtual working model that enhanced productivity while fostering creative work-life balance for its employees.

Cons: Dell has disappointingly failed to follow instead of lead with its return-to-hybrid initiative to force workers back into the office. Instead of leveraging its efficient virtual work model to create an attractive place to work for current and new talent, it has instead opted to fall in line with a practice that makes little sense in the new world. A company where work relationships transcend physical location does not benefit from trying to force a face-to-face culture.
