The recruiter was nice and responsive.
I was interviewed by five people on technical skills. The first interview was a panel interview with three people. The second was a 1:1 video interview. The first four interviewers were good, attentively listened, and provided clarification to my questions.
The last interview was a 1:1 video interview scheduled for 45 minutes. However, the interviewer conducted it for 1 hour and 25 minutes. The interviewer’s camera was never turned on. I could hear them typing on their computer throughout the interview. At times, I was unsure if the interviewer was actively listening, as there was no response. The interviewer repeatedly interrupted and cut me off, not allowing me to finish explaining my thoughts completely.
The interviewer began giving coding questions just 10 minutes before the original 45-minute schedule ended. After I proposed a solution and started writing code, the interviewer suddenly changed the problem in the middle.
For example, when discussing simultaneously traversing two arrays with two different pointers, which takes O(M+N) time, the interviewer stated it was O(N^2).
Overall, the last interview experience was quite intimidating. Please respect interviewees and their time!
