This was the worst interview experience ever. Why did you call me and waste my whole day when I did not meet your requirements?

You called me, and I arrived at 9:30 AM. Then there was a written round. Even after the written round, you should not have shortlisted me if I was not perfect for your profile. However, you shortlisted me and told me to wait for the interview. Every other candidate was given 2-3 interviews, but I am still waiting for the first round.

The recruiter seemed to be searching for someone who could interview me and reject me. Finally, one interviewer was ready to take the interview. The interviewer had already been told by the recruiter not to move me ahead to the next round.

After a long wait, the interview finally started at 2:45 PM. The interviewer was not even interested in listening to me. He asked me to describe my previous company's work. When I started, he stopped me in the middle and began asking technical questions. He wasn't listening to my answers; he just wanted to see where I would get stuck. Finally, within 10 minutes, he judged me and said it was done. He then asked if I wanted to ask anything.

So, your recruiter was thinking he was so smart and could easily fool everyone.

• Why did you call me if I did not meet your criteria and waste my whole day? I also refused another interview because of you.
• There was no tea or coffee available. Candidates arrived at 9:30 AM. Even food was not available on Saturday in the food court, except for one shop and one item (this is a secondary concern, but you should have considered it).
• Do not just call candidates for an interview blindly to increase the crowd. First, check the candidate's profile, total years of experience, technology stack, and other expectations, then you should call them for an interview.
