The process was truly unique and very exciting.

A. The first round was the online aptitude and technical questions. There were 60 questions in 60 minutes.

B. The second round was a case study, entirely pen and paper. You were presented with a real-life scenario and needed to depict your solution in three formats: "Block diagram," "Flow chart," and "Algorithm / Pseudo code." This assessment was individual work. There were 126 students in this round, after which the shortlist narrowed down to 7.

C. With only 7 students remaining, we were given a group activity. The deliverable outcome was explained descriptively. Thirty minutes were allocated to complete the task. They wanted to assess teamwork and how you react within a group. The key factor for this round was "Don't compete, compliment." All 7 of us got through this round, as our teamwork was impressive.

D. The fourth round was a personal interview (PI) with a panel of 4 people. This round was to test how you react when presented with a new problem. The problem given was quite unexpected. You needed to think through the solution from every aspect. One person was eliminated in this round.

E. This was the final HR round. The questions were typical HR questions, including dilemmas and how you would respond in those situations.

After this round, 5 of us received final offers from Dell R&D. The process concluded at 12:30 at night, suggesting they may have also wanted to assess patience.

It was an overall very good experience.
